So on December 10, I read a great article by Dalvin Brown of the Washington Post which detailed a groundbreaking study in which the U.S. government tested the Pure & Clean product manufactured by Aerus in a controlled study measuring the effectiveness of the ActivePure technology against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes covid-19.
The results of this study were really significant, as this portable air purification unit, tested at the lowest fan setting, was shown to reduce the virus’s concentration in the air by more than 99 percent. This study comes on the heels of separate testing earlier in the year which showed the ActivePure technology killed 99.98 percent of the live virus on surfaces within seven hours. The combined impact of this technology on both air AND surfaces is what makes it so unique and impactful.
